Finally, after about 6 times trying to log in, I'm here at OMAFC. I don't know if I'll be able to log in again, because I tried all different sorts of the password, and now I can't remember which one worked. heh, heh, heh, the price of getting on in years.

I just wanted to put in a little Christmas Spirit with this "parol."

And also go sailing on the Pacific ocean on a great summer's day.

Anyway, before this season, we still have to get the thanksgiving spirit.
So, Happy Thanksgiving, dear friends!

  1. Thanks for all the season colored, eye catching reminders. It made me think of my own gratefulness quotient. I am grateful first and always to God for my salvation. I am grateful for His providence; peace and grace He has bestowed so abundantly and so underservedly as I am going through my cancer journey. I am grateful to my family and friends like you, JR and Fred our continued friendship and the extra fun time together at OBX! To all my caregivers who took an extra minute of their time to know me as a person and not just as a cancer patient - each extra minute meant a lot. To my big church family, for their continued prayers and encouragement - I am deeply grateful. My bible study group- for their prayers and creativity and made me Eat My Peas. ( a very fun and encouraging small book ) along with my supportive neighbors - I am overwhelmed with so much blessings I am out of words to appropriately convey how deeply touched and grateful I am.
Outside of my circumstance , I am grateful for powers that be at my job who made it easy for me to be off work when needed. I am still grateful for the people in leadership positions who still stand up and defend the TRUTH. I am grateful for those people who died defending their FAITH and our FREEDOM.
    Have a Blessed Thanksgiving celebration

  2. Finally saw the video with the parol.....did not realize it was a video until now..duh!..... it's good to hear your voices. Thanks for setting my heart for Christmas... the parol I saw as the STAR that led the way to the LIGHT of the world spelled JESUS.... and...

As I watched the snow gently and quietly falling, the PEACE of the Lord slowly filled my heart....what a DELIGTH. Thank You!
